Cancer Support Groups
Dialogue - Cancer Support Group
This group is open to all cancer survivors. The Dialogue Group has been a support resource for survivors for over 26 years. Join us for a complimentary lunch and discussion designed to support health survivorship.
This group meets 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, on the first Thursday of every month in the HCC Amphitheater.
Muffins for Caregivers
If you are a family member or a friend of one of our patients, you are a caregiver. Join us for information and suppor for caregivers.
This group meets 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, every Wednesday in the HCC Quiet Room on the 2nd Floor.
Pampa Support Group
This support group is provided for all HCC patients, survivors and caregivers. A complementary lunch is provided.
This group meets 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM in Pampa, Texas at the Central Baptist Church, on the fourth Tuesday of every month.
This group focuses on discussing and developing skills to assist with coping with distress surrounding current life situations. The group is open to current HCC patients, survivors and caregivers.
This group meets 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month in the HCC Quiet Room on the 2nd Floor.
Women in Touch
Join us for our breast cancer support group. Women in Touch has been meeting for over 17 years to support breast cacner survivors.
This group meets 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM on the third Monday every month in the HCC Amphitheater.
Quit Club - Tobacco Cessation Support Group
A support group sponsored by Harrington Cancer Center for those who have quit tobacco. Meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Quiet Room at Harrington Cancer Center, 2nd floor. For more information, please call 806-463-QUIT (7848).
Classes for Patients
This class provides education about what the patient can expect while undergoing chemotherapy treatment. General side effects, when to call your doctor or nurse and basic cancer treatment principles are covered. Each patient receives a personalized treatment book filled with valuable information.
This class is held every Monday from 9:00 to 12:00 p.m. in the Amphitheater and must be scheduled through your clinic nurse.
Power of Choice - Tobacco Cessation Class
An upbeat, motivational, group setting to help those who are ready to be rid of nicotine addiction. Tobacco cessation classes are available monthly for a four week series beginning on the first Thursday of the month. For more information, please call 806-463-QUIT (7848).
