Anita Ravipati, MD

Dr. Anita Ravipati came to Harrington Cancer Center from William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan where she served as Chief Fellow in Hematology and Oncology in her final year of fellowship. Prior to her specialty training, she completed a residency and served a year on the faculty in the Department of Internal Medicine at William Beaumont Hospital.While at William Beaumont Hospital, she completed research projects in breast cancer, pain control and cancer screening. She was a member of the Blood Bank and Protocol Review Committees and worked as a volunteer to provide basic medical care in an underprivileged community in downtown Detroit. Dr. Ravipati received her medical degree from Guntur Medical College in Guntur, India, where she was involved in volunteer efforts to provide medical care to underserved groups in her community. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American College of Physicians.
